YaCy - Access-Log Einträge

A search using the YaCy search engine is offered on the page https://yacy.frank-siebert.de. This search distributes search queries anonymously in the YaCy peer-to-peer network. Nevertheless, search queries leave an IP address of the searcher as well as the search terms in the access log of the server used.

In order to achieve a higher level of security, you can choose to install YaCy on your own Recher.

Access log file in general

In general, every access to pages that are offered on the frank-siebert.de server leaves entries in the log file. These are similar in structure to the YaCy log entry shown above as an example. Each entry basically always contains the following data, as can be seen in the example listed above:

• IP address of the requesting computer
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the file accessed
• Website from which access was made (referrer URL, not included in the example)
